Marketing Executive & Event Coordinator

Role:                     Marketing Executive & Event Coordinator

Location:              Galway or Dublin Based

Type:                    Maternity Cover Contract

 

Reporting to the Strategy and Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive & Event Coordinator will be responsible for implementing the Strategy and Marketing Department’s objectives around event planning, co-ordination and execution, marketing collateral, branded materials, website maintenance amongst other Strategy and Marketing Department activities.

Role:

  • To work as part of highly successful Strategy and Marketing Team
  • To make a contribution to the business by executing various marketing activities to the highest standard
  • To gain significant experience in a fast-paced organisation that builds leading edge pharma and tech projects

Key Functions:

  • Internal and external event planning, organisation, execution.
  • Client entertainment event coordination and support.
  • Maintaining company’s internal and external website and ongoing site development.
  • Sourcing of our client’s branded materials; stock maintenance.
  • Co-ordination of marketing packs to sites.
  • Liaison with agencies as required.
  • Assisting with the production of marketing materials and literature as required.
  • Assisting with Strategy objective implementation.
  • Supporting relevant Functions and individuals throughout the business.

 

Key Tasks, Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Planning, organisation and execution of internal and external events, exhibitions, seminars, trade shows and sponsorships.
  • Client entertainment event co-ordination and support; liaison with various organisations as required.
  • Maintaining company’s internal and external website and ongoing site development.
  • Assisting with the production of marketing materials and literature, including presentations, PQQs and tender submittals as required.
  • Liaison with design agencies and photographers (staff and project photographers) as required, maintaining the database of photography.
  • Sourcing of client branded materials; stock maintenance within each office location.
  • Co-ordinating the delivery of marketing packs to sites.
  • Supporting project database maintenance; employee and project CV development.
  • Supporting Business Development, Business Unit Managers and Function Heads regarding marketing activities as required.
  • Supporting the Strategic objective implementation including market research and strategic KPI reporting.
  • Provide additional support to the Strategy and Marketing Team as required.
  • There will be a requirement to travel on a regular basis to other Company Offices and to attend events when required.

 

Required experience/qualifications:

  • Appropriate relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Design Suite training
  • Ability to work on alone and as part of a team
  • Flexible and proactive
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
